No joke, if San Antonio wasn't in the awful land of the Dallas Cowboys, we would probably move to San Antonio after Costa Rica. It is hands down one of the most amazing cities we have ever been, both together and separately. This is coming from a couple that within the last 24 hours has been in New Orleans, who has adopted Chi Town as our favorite city in the United States, and together has been to Sevilla, Barcelona, Marbella, Tariffa, Philly, Raleigh, Charleston, Asheville and various amazing places in Costa Rica. SIMPLY AMAZING. Who would have known that Texas could produce such a fantastic place? Honestly, I'm considering having my bachelorette party there, called dibs before Abasi could (plus he wants to run with the bulls for his bachelor party anyway.)
What makes this city so great? Well for one, it has this Riverwalk that is literally below the level of the street that has gondolas masterfully gliding through the water as bars and restaurants line the sides with laughter, music, lights and amazing food.
Just above the Riverwalk is the streets of San Antonio, equally alive with night life, and just a couple of blocks off the main downtown streets is The Alamo... take me to it!
Authentic Tex-Mex food, margaritas, mariachi bands and the gorgeous scenery made our night in San Antonio a nice, relaxing contrast from the cramped SUV we had been confined to.
IN LOVE WITH SAN ANTONIO... we must continue on, but alas we will be back!!!
