Holy TIGER Batman... Say Hello to, Tony the Tiger?

So here are Abasi and I driving down the highway after leaving NOLA, on our way to Texas (ew.)  Granted, scenes of The Waterboy (think "Water sucks. It really really sucks.") were reeling through my mind and I figured Louisiana would be a bit different. HOWEVER, different does not begin to describe a gas station with its very own... LIVE TIGER!  Yes people, turn into a gas station just off the highway in Grosse Tete, LA and you will find The Tiger Truck Stop with a caged in... and quite controversial, obviously... tiger.  It is crazy to even imagine, yet if you google it... and I did... you will learn that there have been tigers at this stop for 20 something years and this particular tiger, Tony, is about 10.

While obviously doing its job by bringing attention, both good and bad, I think it is extremely unfortunate.  For some reason, when I called Tony he got up, which means I'm either an animal whisperer or my voice just really irritated him... I think we all know which one it is ; )  Reason I mention this is because a local trucker near by said he never sees Tony move, which just proves this poor tiger is less than enthused to be the local celebrity.

Looks like Tony might finally be getting his freedom though, so I say... 

THHAATT'S  GRRREEAATT!!!
