Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updating sooner but we have been driving almost non stop, except for some breaks here and there to sleep in the car... ouch... so this is the first WiFi access. Ironically enough, we'll have Wifi every night in Mexico and Central America because we can't sleep in our car there... can we? Just kidding, nobody freak out, we're getting rooms every night.
Now onto the trip thus far...
So far, so good with the dogs... they seem quite happy in the back, I think it helps that they are together. Plus we pull off a lot to walk, feed and give them water. Bentley wasn't drinking water at first, probably just nervous, but once he relaxed, he was good to go. Gemini's no dummy, she knows what a move feels like!
Well to start we, like usual, got a late start to Atlanta... it actually made us miss the office hours for the Guatemalan Consulate (shocker!) and we were forced to rack our brains for ideas for these 100% NECESSARY papers. Lucky for us, we're genius and a bit balls-y I guess, and called a cab company in ATL to pick the papers up for us, which we in turn threw them $30... not too shabby. Needed the papers, got the papers... mission accomplished.
Then... we continued on our way...
Drove from ATL, through Alabama, with no issues. Actually it is quite pretty there right now...
On our way to NEW ORLEANS!!!
